I understand Rose's perspective, but just knowing that Steven's short life holds a lot of painful memories, especially regarding adults, makes this situation all the more heartbreaking. Great work, tho!

Poor Steven. I really hope that Rose comes to her senses soon and realizes that Steven is himself and not White. He doesnβt deserve this.
Oh, Rose. Greg already is involved. Though I wonder if Greg ever knew White Diamond was White Diamond, or if he had an affair with βWendyβ, the human with a rock in her head. It would be so interesting if Greg knew about gems but was keeping it a secret because he knew Rose didnβt want to talk about it

Also on a more serious note, Rose is putting a butt ton of senerity into "White" being on "her" best behavior. Like you can tell she's nervous as hell and pleading with Steven. Genuine concern for Greg's well being, perhaps? And maybe hope that "White" has somehow changed?
