This is incredibly satisfying to me because I wanted to send an ask about testing the barrier but I knew Steven wouldnβt do that if he believed testing it would harm him. So the only way for him to find out about the barrier not working on him would be by accident. And Iβm SO happy that this has come to pass.

That was actually a stylistic choice on my part. :) I like to put a period on the questions I want to have a flat intonation, I feel it carries the tone across better.
