Aventurine: Behind the Scenes (concept sketches)

I think I started planning for her back in June of 2020, and started seriously sketching her down around then. It was a bit of a brute-force process because I didn't have any SOLID ideas for her except the goggles, two mouths, and her general hair-shape. But the first two iterations of her still ended up being pretty peridot-y.
I had originally planned to have her be more green, closer in tone to Malachite, but it shifted teal-er as we went. She also didn't have the second set of arms until about November, when I was drawing the season finale! This was the original 'finalized' concept sketch.
The wings were going to just go directly into the limb enhancers - but that didn't make too much sense, although it did look cool. I like the idea that they're still physically attached to her limbs.

I sincerely hope there will be a stable fusion later that'll be better incorporated, but this choice was EXCELLENT for the circumstances and you have my kudos forever.
