Early preview of THE STORM (part 2) because it's so dang long.
🕑 Added 2023-06-27 15:26:49 +0000 UTCHey y'all, so I'm STILL working on the comic! What I thought would be a relatively straightforward part 2 is turning out to be a monster almost twice the length of part 1......but I want to do this arc justice so I'm keeping on keeping on.
As a thank you for your patience, I've decided to finish up the first scene of the comic and post it so that you have at least something to read. There comics are pretty much finished, but I may come back later and polish them off. Or not! Who knows.

I'm twisting it a little bit here for several reason but mainly - Garnet didn't have the whole 'stronger than you' thing with Jasper. She hated Jasper because of the Cluster, but Jasper turned out to not even know anything about that. She now understands her better as a simple footsoldier - something Ruby can relate to, on a level. There's also a bit of future vision at play here... but that's for another time. :)

Dayum, Garnet letting Jasper loose? Pretty sure Pinkverse Garnet would leave her to die at this point of the timeline. Maybe having who she thinks is White Diamond as an ally makes her more open to believing in redemption? If so that bodes well for Pink.
