Steven unintentionally dismissing CG’s feelings because he’s already decided he knows her reasoning rather than giving her a chance to explain it, but also it’s so clear this dismissiveness also stems from a place of fear for CG and not wanting to endanger her. And of course it sounds just like when White and Pink would fight, except we know Steven doesn’t simply view CG as an extension of himself. I absolutely loved how the show’s narrative represented family dynamics, and I love seeing it echoed in the comic too! Wonderful job and I can’t wait to see Steven do “better” than White in this regard, even if it takes him time to get there as it did her too in the end! :)
