This is the start of Jasper's redeemption arc, Once Jasper fully trust Amethyst and Seaglass (and vice versa), Jasper will tell her backstory, like the fact Pink Diamond got shattered by Rose Quartz.

1. I like that little tidbit about Amethyst learning shapeshifting from Rose. It works as subtle foreshadowing for the characters when they (probably) eventually learn who she really is. 2. I wanted to type this under the last comic, but I figured I'd do so here. I like that Amethyst asked Garnet and Pearl about Jasper and then gets mad when they don't show any interest/empathy. Asking someone to show kindness to someone who has shattered hundreds of their friends is a crazy thing to do and shows how immature Amethyst is. This is an interesting way to show that character flaw. Though I am curious why she didn't ask Rose, given that they all (except Pearl) believe that she's a quarts.

I think Jasper is seeing what Steven said. I mean she was made as a perfect cut of gem but she now realized that she has to make herself believe she's a perfect cut of gem by working hard to be perfect. I can't wait for Lapis and Peridot freaking out that Jasper is listening to them

This arch feels right out of the show, it's entirely within Jasper's character to do ANYTHING to win, she broke her moral code by cross gem fusion in the show, so why wouldn't she debase herself by learning from other inferior gems in order to become better than them? If she learns everything that they know, that means that she is better, and they have no advantage over her anymore.

I think this one is my favourite episode, yeah CG is Steven's daughter, no doubt about it. Word "Perfect" to one of my definition is adaptation, so I 100% agreed with CG. I love seeing Jasper's face when she gets told about it.

I seriously thought they were gonna give Jasper an existential crisis, but it was way better than I thought. I cannot wait to see how this will pan out for Jasper.... I still have some hope that Lapis and Peridot will join at some point

The Looney Tunes is strong with this one... This part was GREAT! I love seeing CG and Amethyst team up and use their unorthodox strategy to defeat the corrupted gem! And CG's monologue about perfection and change was such a nice way to set up a possible redemption of Jasper.
