What do you mean "instead of"? Rose can and does love them both. She's just not great at making sure they both know that.

Uh... to be honest. I thought the Giant Corrupt Gem Bird was a fusion that become corrupt. I mean when Opal poof the mini flying beaks, they became many gems got bubbled. They can't be forced-fusion gems since they all looked like mashed up body parts

I like how out of sync Pearl is with Rose in this situation. It feels like a subtle way of showing why Rose is with Greg instead of Pearl.
