I keep getting an error when trying to back up my config. Says No such file or directory and the path is using double backslashes for each folder ...c:\\user\\username\\desktop\\client_backup.cfg

No, there is not - I have looked through the source code, It's safe.

Most likely what's happening is that your antivirus is flagging it, and putting it in quarantine.

Increase your shadow cascades to 2 or higher. (also increasing the shadow quality will help reducing the flickering)

Took me from 80 to 100 FPS. I've always had this weird issue where pixels particularly shadows flash like crazy. The Combat preset makes it really bad. Any ideas?

i did download openin game selecting presets and nothing happens

Game should be closed while applying preset. Check your client.cfg file properties and path. Maybe you have old game files and the program tries to change them instead of current ones

doesn't seem like it does anything when i try and switch between the presets, even trying with my game closed and restarting it. i'm not sure if im doing something wrong

tbh I got 3% improvement overall in pc and rust. wasn't expect this low percentage. I hope there will be updates in feature.

The program doesn't set cfg files, it changes several graphics parameters, keeping most of them untouched, so every player can use it without loosing key options

So hard to get with virus warnings. If it just sets the CFG files why dont you just publish the 3 of them?

Try turning off your windows defender and antivirus software and download the Autosettings again
