The director for Solo Leveling said to not expect a season 3 until 2028 due to animation reasons and to give their animators a break, almost each ep in S2 had over 13,000 - 16,000 frames and he predicted that S3 will take a longer while to release if they go that hard again. The wait is gonna suck but some people think it could come sooner than 2028 but we just have to wait and see.
