Melody - Lain's Walkthrough + Scene Gallery Mod

This mod adds a full in-game walkthrough for every important choice in the game Melody! If a choice gives points or is required to see a scene it will be highlighted so you don't have to worry about missing points or scenes because of dumb reasons like not having extensive knowledge of jazz music history or because you don't know the difference between a piccolo and a fife. Choices that aren't important and don't have lasting effects aren't highlighted so you still have freedom and can pick your preferred choice.
A scene gallery containing every scene in the entire game can now be accessed from the main menu. All the scenes are already unlocked/viewable, meaning you don't have to replay the game to be able to see the scenes in the gallery.
The UI and textbox will no longer block the screen during all the sex scenes! For some reason the developers forgot to hide the UI during the sex scenes so there's always a big textbox blocking the screen during the scenes even if there isn't any dialog. Now the UI will be hidden during scenes and the textbox will only show if a character is speaking.
I've currently made over 40 improvements to the events in the game so that you're no longer forced to only do one scene and miss the other. Now when possible, all the scenes will play for events instead of only one. The full list of improvements is at the bottom of this post.

Installation:
PC:
Unzip the mod and put the folder named "game" from the mod in your "Melody-1.00-pc" folder.
Mac:
Unzip the mod -> Right click your Melody app -> Click "Show Package Contents" -> Open the "Contents" then "Resources" folders -> Hold the Option key and drag the folder named "game" from the mod to the "autorun" folder -> Click merge
What's the difference between your gallery and the gallery that's already in the game?
The "lewd gallery" that's already in the game only contains some custom images created by the developers and nothing else. My gallery is a scene replay gallery that lets you replay all of the scenes in the game.
Scene improvements:
- Week 1: Both of Isabella's sex scenes at night will play instead of only one.
- Week 4: You no longer will lose points for looking at pictures of Sofia on Melody's phone.
- Week 4: Both of Amy's masturbation scenes will play instead of only one.
- Week 4: You can now choose any girl during the dream fantasy scene without losing points.
- Week 5: You get to see all 3 options from the Melody dream instead of only one.
- Week 5: Now you can do Amy's date event AND Melody's movie theater event instead of being forced to only do one and miss the other.
- Week 5: All 4 of the CG images at Amy's date event will now show.
- Week 5: Amy's fingering scene and blowjob scene will both play instead of only one.
- Week 5: Both of Isabella's anal scenes will happen instead of only one.
- Week 6: Corrected the Japanese dialog and translated it.
- Week 6: You can now do all the options when touching Becca in your apartment instead of only one.
- Week 6: You can now do all the options when touching Becca at the movie theater instead of only one.
- Week 6: Choosing the tongue photo option with Melody and Sofia won't cause you to miss a point.
- Week 6: If Melody and Sofia kiss at the party you won't lose a point.
- Week 7: You can now do all the options when touching Xianne at your apartment instead of only one.
- Week 7: You can now choose any outfit for Melody when shopping and will no longer lose points when choosing the revealing outfits.
- Week 7: You can now do all the options when touching Amy at the lunch date instead of only one.
- Week 7: You can now do all the options when touching Melody after singing at the club instead of only one.
- Week 7: You can now do all the options when touching Amy at the dinner date instead of only one.
- Week 8: During Melody's masturbation scene all 5 options will play instead of only 2.
- Week 8: You can now do all the options when touching Becca at your door instead of only one.
- Week 8: At the end of Xianne's massage session both ending scenes will play instead of only one.

Hi I had this problem when I started game after moving mod to autorun folder on mac. What can I do? After initialization, but before game start. File "game/gallery/Lain_Walkthrough.rpy", line 20, in prepare_screen File "game/gallery/Lain_Walkthrough.rpy", line 20, in prepare Exception: A screen named game_menu does not exist.
It's not something I can change because that's just how the story is sadly. On Week 9 before the choice happens the mod explains what the results of the choices are: Choosing a {b}casual relationship{/b} will cause Sophia and Xianne to be in a lesbian relationship. If you are on Xianne's route choosing this will cause her to break up with you. Choosing a casual relationship if you are in a relationship with Melody will also cause you to get a foursome scene. Choosing to {b}just be friends{/b} will cause Sophia and Xianne to only be friends. Choosing to just be friends if you are in a relationship with Melody will also cause you to get a threesome scene.

Sorry if I missed it in the description: I had issue with Xianne not wanting to fool around with MC after going into "casual" relationship with Sofia. Was you able to correct this? Both girls have casually fooled around with everybody but once in a "relationship" only Xianne decides to get serious.

I tired to play last Sofia's Scene Gallery but it open to your Patreon's page with MOD that I already downloaded and installed. Am I doing something wrong here?
Hm, I don't think the game has any background music except for at the start of the game, does it? Or do you mean music like when Melody plays guitar/piano? Because I know the devs were replacing some of those songs, idk if they finished replacing them all yet.

Not for this mod, sorry. MrDots doesn't do public releases for his games so I can't upload an apk with the mod.

It says you're missing files from the game, so it's not a problem with the mod. What game version are you playing? You could try unpacking a fresh copy of the game and then installing the mod.
