RIP Ben Faulding aka Ben Ziggy
🕑 Added 2025-08-04 01:44:25 +0000 UTCHey yall, Matt here. A few days ago my friend and comrade Ben Ziggy passed away. I may talk about it more on the next episode of the show but for now I just wanna say a couple things about one of the dopest dudes I’ve ever met.
Ben and I were mostly internet friends as we lived across the country from each other so the vast majority of our communication happened via DMs and comment sections. Yet even through text, his impact on my life is immeasurable.
We first met on Jewish Facebook groups (including the group Bad Hasbara) where we would get into arguments with Zionists. Our political trajectory was very similar, except he was always a step ahead of me. Id start out thinking he was a little extra radical for my taste and not long after I’d realize he was right. Without him there would be no Bad Hasbara podcast. Naturally he was the first person i asked to guest on the podcast, and even helped me name it “Bad Hasbara - the world’s most moral podcast.”
He was hilarious and righteous and brilliant and pretty much the coolest person I knew. He will be missed. Rest in power dude.
