Landscapes: The Iced Over River
🕑 Added 2022-02-28 23:03:52 +0000 UTCI've been playing a lot of Frostgrave, and I'm entering into a campaign called "Thaw of the Lich Lord", and for that, I need a frozen river about 2 feet wide, and a six inch shore on either side. Patrons have been asking on and off if I would ever do anything outdoors. Well, this confluence of events has gotten me to take a crack at it. This set is designed for making The set has:
- 12 difference cracked ice tiles with various sizes and patterns of cracked ice.
- 4 cracked ice tiles with different large rocks popping up through the ice (Side note, I used the fantastic CC-BY rocks from Terrain4Print for this with his permission).
- 8 shore pieces that vary back and forth. These have been designed to be seamless next to one another.
- 4 tundra tiles, also designed to be seamless.
- 6x6 bases for people who want to use these with bases (I plan on gluing them to 1x1 pieces of hardboard personally).
- Also, I made some 2x2 and 4x4 floors of cracked ice in case anyone has some fun use cases.
I strongly recommend printing the tundra and shore pieces upright to get the full texture. on my printer that takes a full 24 hours, but the texture done that way is gorgeous.
Let me know what you think. I plan on producing for frostgrave some more tundra tiles, along with some that have stone streets and building foundations embedded, as well as some corner shore pieces that can turn it instead to a frozen lake or pond.
I'm considering releasing these along with many other items created for Frostgrave on Myminifactory as items for sale. I have not made a decision about this yet, and feedback on that is very welcome. For patrons, this changes nothing however. They will always be in the openforge dropbox, and merchants can sell these just like any other releases.
