Suggestion (well, an idea, anyway!): if Samira and Jacob don’t work out, that means she would lose her US residency, yes? It would be dark, but maybe for the best if she was deported back to the Middle East - after all, that’s where she “fits in” best, now! And then everyone can be “happy” in their new lives. Pretty dark idea, but that would be my thinking, at least. Great work with this, so far, as others have said, anyway!
