I like the sensory based mind control to change tastes and I am eager for cultural changes.... Many conservatives talk a good game but so many ways this can be pushed.

There could be a slight twist if she isn't fully converted by the process especially with a conservative husband and the morality police checking her adherence to the new dress code

Yeah, I like that idea too. And/or married to an ultraconservative Muslim, thereby doubly needing to follow the rules of her new community. But I guess that would be sort of a given, in the timeline you describe!

With the option of being totally immersed in the ultra conservative community or Iran, with the "morality police" constantly checking that she abides by the rules it could make an interesting twist

For something a little different, I would love to see her perhaps move to that community, in the long term (either the ex pat community in the US, or, even better, moving to Iran itself, given that’s the option that won) - I know you did that already with Hijab Diaries Part 1, but it’s still my favourite outcome, ha. Shows just how much she has changed, and how totally disconnected from her old identity she would have become!

Iranian could be rather conservative, predominately black abayas but the Afghan option could also be conservative but with Daisy being forced to wear the traditional burkah with the inherent prejudices from friends and society as well as her subjugation. But time will tell
