I’m Egyptian, immigrated to the US as a kid, and I always get homesick around this time of year so I’ve been blasting this during many sunny car rides lately. The Arab rap scene has really grown over the last few years and it’s so cool to see (also! This music video was filmed in the same part of Cairo I grew up in!!) Work is extra stressful right now and I have so much to do today buuut I’m still taking some time to go to the park and walk around in the sunshine, so I’m looking forward to that 😋 hope everyone has a good weekend!!

His name is familiar, but I can't place it 🤔 On the music front, I've had this song pop back into my head out of nowhere and it's been the vibe for the past few days. https://youtu.be/MXLydu0Gzdo Not to mention, Chaparelle finally dropped their album, so that'll be on repeat for the foreseeable future. Not too much going on for me these days, but I'm looking forward to spending the weekend at my parents house for Easter. My partner and I have plans to hit up a local farm's baby animal festival tomorrow.
