This is basically the best critter I've ever made! This started at a much smaller scale but I decided to go all-out with it, which is why it took so long. Make sure to leave a comment!

In the editor I can just draw out whatever path I want, and it works! I think people will have a lot of fun with these in custom levels too.
We already had been tossing around ideas for an extendable ferret for at least a year beforehand, and it's been in the design doc the whole time, but the axolongls were what made us go "okay, we should make the ferret now since this is cool". The implementation is pretty different between the two, though!

Love that furlong! I'm already guessing there's going to be puzzles where you need the furlong at a specific length, not necessarily at full length

Furrets are odd creatures. Backwards hop! Furlongs when grumpy are unpredictable, but don't hurt you like everything else. Chaotic Neutral!

Ooh! The puzzle and gameplay potential from this lil' fella. Each one has a fixed LONG pattern! Extendable, placable walls! Needing to feed them across that pattern which is a puzzle in itself, but shows you what pattern they make! I'm guessing a sum of the (fur)long duration it took to make them went into making it easy to just give them their LONG pattern, and they just use it. They're going to be fun to play with in game!
