Now that Ive watched the fight again I wonder why Shikamaru thought there was no way of defeating Temari. He couldve just moved in a way that she wouldve smashed her head against the hard part of her fan until losing consciousness. It was stuck right before her with a pointy edge on either side 🥴

I feel like a lot of people missed what Shikimaru said at the beggining. Basically if you beat a girl, your a bad guy and if you loose to a girl you will ridiculousie. It was a loose loose situation. So he came up with a stragedy. Have her be caught in your jutsu and then let her win. That's a win, win right there 👏

sub not dub, in the dub he says that, that is why dub is better then sub lots of better lines that hit different. iv been saying from the start of the reactions that the sub they been watching is horrible, iv watched way better sub versions then what they been watching.

Gosh I hate this sub .. in the original, Shikamaru says he thought up of the next 200 moves to defeat her (meaning he had 200 different ways to win the fight but he was out of time and chakra) not that he thought of the next “trick 200 times ..”

I think OG Naruto is one of those shows that are better in dub than sub just because the translations don't do it justice imo, especially this fight the dub explains it way better and is more hype

Interesting question, I'd say the one I have most circled to this point whenever I watch it back (via reactors like yourselves) is always the Rock Lee - Gaara fight where Rock Lee drops his weights. Honorable mention to the Orochimaru reveal episode when you start to realize there's a true killer here at the exam, and his fight with Sasuske is awesome in the forest. I also kind of prefer these two episodes from today more than last episode, though I think that's easily a top five episode to this point so not a bad take to have it so high.
