Tsunade is incredibly strong, it's just that she basically just uses taijutsu, medical ninjutsu, and summoning. Kabuto was basically the worst counter she could've faced, and Tsunade does better against Orochimaru than Kabuto here. Kabuto is able to shut down her main methods of attack whereas if she'd been able to land a clean hit on him before he cut her muscles, the fight would have ended immediately. Her hemophobia is also a huge nerf to her since in this series chakra is made up of mental and physical energies within the body. So if she's having a mental breakdown her "mental energy" will be out of sync which in turn would make her weaker, aside from her inability to even think straight as she's likely having flashbacks to Dan's death when she's covered in blood

Yea just like everyone is saying all 3 sannin are nerf here. Omicharu with his hands, jiraiya with the drug, and tsunade with her fear of blood not to mention she is rusty since she hadn't been in combat most likely since naruto was born thats why omicharu pointed out that tsunade was running out of breath quickly. Not to take away kabuto ability. He's is very strong and the same lvl as kakashi which that's nothing to sneeze about.

Two things: First I love Ron's reaction to Brandon saying that Naruto could beat Kabuto lol. Second the five prong seal was what Orochimaru did to Naruto in the Chunin exams. He was talking about breaking that seal which Jiraiya already broke when he was teaching Naruto how to summon the frog. Jiraiya had explained that someone must have added a 5 prong seal and it's no wonder why Naruto's chakra gathering is all out of wack so he did the 5 prong seal release on him

Kabuto did not defeat Tsunade he just cut himself and since Tsunade is scared of blood her PTSD came for her lol A lot of people like to act like Kabuto actually defeated her in battle.
