When skipping all the fillers you rlly notice how streamlined and captivating the Naruto story actually is. Obv in OG Naruto its not as bad. But still when thinking back of how long it would take to get to certain important moments if watching all and everything. And now it feels like the journey is alr so far in. Up to this point everything was relatively accurate to the base material. But from here on out fillers would somewhat destroy the storys pacing.

So that stone is the memorial stone. During the bell training Kakashi told Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura that the names of his closest friends are written on that stone. That stone was the same one that kid Iruka was in front of.

It's helpful when you watch a show that has a LOT of characters, abilities, regions, diff storylines etc, alongside someone who has seen ALL of the show, cause it makes clarifying information easier for Brandon to then piece things all together. First watch through, it can be difficult to FULLY put these together like how it was for Ron when you don't have ALL the info to help clarify things off the rip. But yeah this first reveal for Itachi is big because it's like "omg wait we get to see this guy from the Uchiha clan meaning he's related to a character like SASUKE?" And then a bunch of questions start raising because curiosity is sparked lol

Brandon shukaku is not a possum you missed it last double episode they called him a sand raccoon, hayate is the 3rd prelim proctor that was coughing all the time and was the guy who died spying on kabuto and gaaras sensei so the purple haired anbu lady was talking about him. And also yes all 5 of the major villages have anbu blackops that work for all 5 kage (also LETS FUCKING GOOOOOO ITACHI IS HERE!)
