I understand Carol, she wants to prevent another Sophia and not make the same mistake. Michonne part was dumb though, so out of character not being able to take care of a few walkers and hurting herself in the process. Ron, you can’t call Carol annoying for tryna build the kids up and be able to protect themselves, you also have to remember where she’s coming from. Remember her daughter that died in season two? Clearly her death was due to her being weak and afraid, Carol knows that and therefore she ain’t tryna raise no weak children.

Brandon def got it, they are a lot of things that feel off about Carol in only two episodes ,which is about her character on a way to a complete reverse from season 1 She's cold and playing solo. Combined with another aspect of mental issues during apocalypse times : the one kid being too empathic towards walkers. New symptoms of gowing up in this world. And of course the sickness is also a classic apocalyptic subject. This season really puts the show on another level of social experiment, the walkers really start being an excuse and not a threat anymore

I feel this is a safe space; I can actually relate to the hard times comment. I unfortunately had a hard childhood and harsh intro to adulthood. I’ve triumphed a lot of hurdles but it was one loss I could never come back from and now 7 years later I often find myself giving up , complete opposite of how Ron was. I’ve been trying to be a content creator lately but my confidence is below surface level in that area and I’ve gotten so used to losing I expect it now. Honestly needed to hear the beginning to give myself another chance to fail or succeed . Keep up the vibes ! GVG !

About Carol's situation, you need to consider what she's been through. She was meek and submissive and never stood up for herself or her daughter. She didn't defend herself from Ed at the quarry; Shane defended her. She didn't run after Sophia; Rick did that, and she lost her anyway. After T-Dog died for her is when we really start seeing her shift into this mentality of "either you are tough or you die" and teaching that to kids so that what happened to Sophia doesn't happen to them. I agree that the way she goes about it is not right, but it's the result of her trauma and experiences.

I mean from season 1-4 hasn't it only been like what a year and a half since the fall of the world? It makes sense later on with all the time jumps but rn shouldn't they still be kinda fresh lol, since its only a year in and people are still dying

So the skin and bones are so delicate because well they’re dead lol, their bones and skin rot away and decay as as more time passes without nutrients and everything the body needs it just gets worse and worse and weaker and weaker. That’s why you can see someone smack a walker skull with not such a strong strike
