I think character development is just so important that you should do it thinking about it slowly. Because when you proceed in it you can t go back and change background or the story. So i voted it but i say do it slowly. Maybe wait 1 or 2 patch before doing something that makes the story really progress. This way you have the time to think about it while you make more feet content.
