nap times are hard
🕑 Added 2020-04-01 15:36:16 +0000 UTCsigh. currently sitting here while gideon tries to get nalcoah to nap for this one. we've started a routine of me doing the morning nap and him doing the afternoon nap. but it's hard to not just go in and give her the breast. so many things in parenthood where it's like "what IS the right thing to do??" and i don't know.

awh yeah! it can get so tiring being the only one able to do it. actually yesterday it was a lot easier for gideon than me. weird. but i think we both have to develop our own routine with naps for her and not either one of us copying the other.

The fact that you are trying to do what's best for your child means you are doing incredible. I think some parenting answers don't always have a clear cut answer. But, it does get easier as they are able to communicate more! My son wouldn't ever let me put him for nap or sleep for the first year. I hated it because I really wanted to give my wife a break. We finally just kept trying and began to show him that dad can comfort and love him too!
