i feel like belly and jere's relationship atp is literally a trauma bond. the amount of times he brings up his mom when talking about their relationship, even using her death in a fight to guilt trip belly... like bro. conrad and belly having distance after she died so conrad could do some healing on his own is part of why i feel like they work so well together now. i do think belly and jere have an unhealthy emotional codependency, she's conditioned to show up for him and do anything to make him happy and give him what he wants, and he's conditioned to take take take from her without giving anything back. i feel like it's not even insulting to jere atp it's literally just the facts. also just saying it is CRAZY that she got with jere SO QUICKLY after her and conrad initially ended things like girl at least wait more than 2 days before going after the other brother??? i get it's trashy romance tv but damn
