PREnDnD Session 0!

Welcome back to early episode releases! We'll be experimenting with phasing this reward back into the fold with what I'm now calling the PREnDnD Prequel series! Beth, Mike, and I will be telling the tale of a young Caithyria Urthadar and Nils Haaskendaugher over the course of the next few months, and in this session 0, we discuss in depth these two characters and how different their younger selves are from the older, wiser, and more serious and sad versions we know from the main campaign. We all really enjoyed this discussion from a character perspective and I hope you'll enjoy it as well. We'll be back in a couple weeks with the first real gameplay session of the story, so stay tuned!
Even with early releases, it really helps the show if you give the episode a regular play on your normal pod provider once it's released. We'll be working hard to make the show worth an extra listen!

Alaskan listener here; in some places it can be similar to the lockdown that was talked about at about 36 minutes in, it just depends on where your are in state for winter!

So Beth and Mike’s new house is named Stheven, correct?
Spoilers if you haven't listened yet: Oh goodness! I just finished listening to Session 0, and I am so excited! The backstories for Nils and Caithyria were incredible to hear! I’m really looking forward to how Beth and Mike play these characters and how they interpret what Graessle has told them so far! I’m very interested in hearing about everything with Majumbo and Nils. Also, that moment after Caithyria and Navia’s graduation was beautiful, and I’m excited to hear more about that incredible friendship and bond they share. Also, I can’t wait to witness that beautiful moment between Margarine and Caithyria. When it was mentioned in Margarine’s Table for Two 2, I had never fathomed that we would possibly get to see that from Caithyria’s point of view (or at least understand the context from her perspective). Anyway, I’m looking forward to Session 1, and I really hope you guys enjoy playing this prequel campaign! I’m loving this! Thanks so much for sharing Session 0 with us! Kudos to the chef!
