It kinda works but the default ammo ui doesnt seem to go away, it stacks on top of the mod itself. Also the UI seems to disappear after an autosave. Any ideas?

For anyone struggling to get it to work or save: The way i got it to work was manually installing the zip file in mod organizer and enabling the plugin in the plugins tab. Once i did that i opened fo4 and enabled the ui mod in mcm and reloaded my game and it worked. So if you are struggling just give this method a try nd if anyone is confused lmk. (idk about vortex and i cant help there, recommend using mo2 regardless :) )

big ups! came here for the night vision animation. if anyone is having trouble, just download the animation from the google drive link, then put it in -Data-Scripts- and then download (2.MCM Menu.45 side-aim night vision HOTKEY.patch) file in the files tab of this authors Remington 700 M24 and XM2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle mod on nexus. very simple.

I send this message in case of someone can't install this mod. The installation is freakin' terrible haha; so I use FallUi and MCM, I put the folders 'Data' from "ammoUI by Tooun.v2024.4.20.Main" and "(Optional.Fall UI no need this)16x9 my DEF_HUD" in the fallout 4 folder in Steam. When you launch your game open MCM then FallUI and execute the layout DEF_HUD. After, enable ammo&weapon ui in MCM too (personnally I have everything to On). re-launch your game and the UI should be here. I hope it's gonna be okay for you (I'm French so sorry for the errors ;)

not gonna lie, it looks like a pretty amazing mod, but WE NEED A VIDEO TUTORIAL, just when I thought I had gotten it to work I find that I cant save without the settings turning off whenever I save the game.

When engaged in extended dialogues, there may be instances where the ammoUI interferes with dialogue selection. In such cases, you must press the ESC key to continue the conversation while making the ammoUI invisible. Additionally, in cases such as when starting a new game and the ammoUI is not displayed, turning off the ammoUI from MCM, saving the game, reloading, turning the ammoUI back on, saving again, and finally reloading the game appeared to restore the display of the ammoUI.

I am not sure if this is a common issue or it is just me: I am using XM2010 night vision and when I press N, I get a night vision with dark edges on the four corners and a brightness meter on the left. However, if I open my pip boy, or pause the game, or enter a new area through a door loading, the "dark edge" and "brightness meter" UI will disappear.

So fyi for anyone, I have the mod installed and working no problem. The ui settings don't work with FallUI which is disappointing for positioning. And if you have over 60 fps this mod breaks your ability to save or quick save. Very special.

How do I get this to work with FallUI, I successfully used the old version of this mod before I switched from def_hud to FallUI, but I am not able to get the current version to appear while using FallUI, the mcm appears, but not the UI, I have saved and reloaded.

I installed this correctly, followed your instructions on how to activate it. Yet, when I select the options to turn it on, only the first option is set to "on". When selecting the others, they say they're on, yet when I hard save the game & reload it, they're all set to "off".

Can someone help me with this mod? I've been trying to get it to work for days and nothing is working. I can turn it on in the MCM, but none of the settings ever change. If I try to turn on the suppressor icon, or the weapon icon, or literally anything that isn't the mod itself, when I save/reload the game, none of the changes actually changed. The position/scale/hotkeys all save, but the actual activation of the parts never saves, so they are always off. It's not a mod conflict issue as I've tried it with my full mod order, a partial mod order, and just this, FallUI HUD and MCM.

Since now, you won't be able to reload a "save game" within the game, that is, select a save before the last one. (if you are going to reload a game, then you must return to the main menu of the game AND FROM THERE LOAD IT). Otherwise, the mod will most likely break, now, if you don't want to go to the menu, you can also kill yourself (it only works for the last "save game" any other you will have to do it the way it indicates (main menu and loadgame).

Re install it, load a save game (no exit game, quicksave, if it is possible), wait until all charge, shows, then, "Esc" keyword, mod config, AmmoUI Extended, Enable/Disable this mod let it in "Yes", then, MCM Settigs Manager, select "Save" (if its ur first time, let it save on "My first settings slot", return to game (DON´T QUIT, re turn to the game, where u move atttack etc), then, "Esc" again, u need to TURN OFF ALL QUICKSAVE OPTIONS, and that settings should be in, config, game / in game (original game options btw), then, return to the game again, "Esc" again and now, "Save Game"

I like the hud but this mod has genuinely broken my game right now, I do have it on SSD, whenever I load a save, I can not save again. This still happens even after uninstalling the mod.

@tooun girl this mod is beyond broken. everytime it works. it locks quick save, and save. you ask people to support you. but now this issue has been in the game since for ever. and it makes 0 sense your mod disable quick save, save. it should never happened. if you have not codded it in. to troll people. no other way it will happened. so please go ahead and fix it. thank you.

My game is pretty messy in general, so no problem if you can't help me, but attached are some screenshots from my game: https://imgur.com/a/4f9J9JL It's an album with just a few images. Only real problem I'm having with the mod (which I absolutely adore, by the way) is that instead of "10mm" for the 10mm pistol's caliber, etc, it shows [AmmoCaliber]. Same with the shotgun in another screenshot. Also included is a screenshot of LString Bow, but it stopped showing [You didn't take] and started showing [Wood Arrow] once I fast traveled, the other ammo (such as the Shotgun Shell or 10mm) didn't update, however.

That's mk18.. However, the sidesight will not be released because it will change the ESP file of mk18. Besides, I haven't finished the animation yet. And the author of 3D meshes is fx0x01 team, not me. Only the side aim animation is made by me. but, if I make my own rifle mod in the future, I will add the same side aim
