This is the first movie I’ve watched someone review which I hadn’t seen before. Didn’t think the story would pay off in entertainment nearly as much as it did. Thank you for taking my hand, as it were, and leading into the thorough enjoyment of this story. Now I know why it ranks so highly in other people’s opinions of all-time best Christmas movies.

Man it deserved more recognition, and honestly the Oscar as well. It was entirely made in 2D, beautiful story and the voice acting was very good. Let's make it a Christmas classic!

I love how you pointed out the size difference between Klaus and his wife Lydia. I always find it hilarious in animated movies where the wife is this petite little barbie doll and the husband is this absolute BEHEMOTH 🤣😂

While I love this movie and it makes me cry everytime, I think the liar revealed trope really brought it down. As for the conflict between the Krums and Ellingboes, I'm in two minds about it: On one hand, I would've taken their feud more seriously if we actually knew what caused it in the first place. On the other hand, I feel like it represents real-world familial and cultural groups whose pettiness and hatred for each other has gone far beyond reason and repair.

Fun fact: I live in Norway and I want to add that the little girl that speaks a different language is a Sami. And so are all the people from her family. The Sami people are indigenous from Norway, Finland and Sweden. Also the clothes they wear are quite accurate. It was a heartwarming touch of realness that I truly loved.

Oh my good god, the head-spinning double take I just did. Look at you posting these gems when I'm asleep across time zones. 😍 This movie is a modern masterpiece!!! SO clever and well-executed as a "non-magical" Santa origin that feels just very grounded in something real; how a seed of inspiration from a regular man, who loved children and spreading kindness, could grow into full fledged tradition. And truly it's the most heartwarming Christmas story I've seen in a long time. Thank you for this! Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did

loved the movie and the reaction - another good Christmas movie and a more recent one is "The Best Christmas Pagent Ever" it came out this year around November and is already on Fandago and Amazon Prime - it was also Directed by Dallas Jenkins the creator and Director of The Chosen.

I originally hesitated to watch this movie when it first came out, because I didn't know what to think of the art style, but then my sister watched it and I thought the humor was great, so I sat down to watch it myself and now it's one of my favorite Christmas movies. It's such a good story and I even got used to the art style
