Well as a creator myself I do get it. Your income depends on people watching the videos, and if you don't think it will do well you want to focus your efforts into something else. And sequels do tend to be not as well liked overall.

Now that we’re on the subject of Dinosaurs and Jurassic Park references maybe a reaction to the original JP story by Michael Crichton? Idk I was listening to it at work and I never wanted a reboot so bad in my life. Spielberg did a fantastic job with it but the original is less action/family friendly and more thriller/sci-fi horror. Use the original plot and scientifically accurate dinosaurs and we got a mini series

I hope you'll consider checking out "The Mitchells vs. the Machines" sometime! It is SO much fun, hilarious, a ton of heart -- got nominated at the Oscars when it came out but has really remained off the beaten path for most reactors.

Love this one, the first film has the best character and emotion but the third has the coolest adventure. The dinosaur world and designs are awesome lovee how goofy some dinosaurs are while others are more threatening. This is the last Ice Age movie that came out when I was a kid and had a special place in my heart as my grandparents loved it to so I could watch it whenever I wanted. Ice age 4 is good but doesn’t have the same pull to me. And Ice Age 5 is legit not good. So happy you are watching this series

Does everyone already know this? One reason why some of the problems that can happen between creators and viewers is that our brains automatically categorize people we see often as friends, or even family. We’re hardwired to develop positive emotions towards anyone we see frequently (so long as we don’t see them in a negative way, suspiciously, or as an enemy already). Our unconscious minds can’t tell the difference between someone we know in person, and just someone we just see on a screen. (If you’re skeptical, here’s proof: it’s the reason why pornography is effective - our brains (at the level where physical reactions happen - subconsciously) don’t understand that the appealing person we see in front of us isn’t physically present.) And so, over time, we develop an emotional connection with those people (creators, not porn actors - though that can happen too, apparently). We grow to trust them, care for them, etc. Sometimes, for some people, it can become unhealthy, even obsessive, so being aware of why it happens can be useful information. And by the way, this is generally the case with any onscreen personality we see often, regardless of the format. Like I said, I don’t know whether or not this is common knowledge, and I sincerely apologize to anyone who feels lectured to or marginalized - that’s not my intention. Plus, I’m not a neuroscientist or psychologist, so please feel free to shred my comment. But given what’s been happening in the larger world lately, I think there may be lots of people who haven’t heard any of this (I definitely wasn’t taught this in school, but maybe it is now?) and I feel pretty strongly that this is the kind of thing everyone everywhere should know about (if they don’t already). Plus, it’s something to keep in mind when communicating with your favorite channels, and definitely if you ever happen to meet one of these creators in person.

I always found it so funny that Buck and Rudy were a big, fat reference to Moby Dick and how obsession can ruin you. Especially the fact that, since Buck was given a chance to get away from it with Manny and the gang, he didn't just absolutely completely lose his mind to his obsession the way Captain Ahab did in Moby Dick.
