Hello, Frau Claudia and the rest of you beautiful and sexy mother hens! Happy almost Wednesday to everyone! The week has been rather slow, as it always is during the countdown to Christmas break. Why is it that the vacation will fly by, but getting to that vacation is like trudging through quicksand? At least my students aren’t too rambunctious this week! Like you, Claudia, I am tired, too – maybe it’s the weather, or the fact that I’ve been running since 5 this morning, and it’s now 9 pm. Need to get to bed in a few, but first some Fragen: Backwards alphabet: I just tried it, and I could with a bit of struggling. I found if I chunked the letter groups, I could do it. Had to try to picture the letters in my head, too. Fallen with pants: All of the time, courtesy of my lovely lack of balance due to MS. I am dangerous when I put them on or take them off, so I have to sit down to do it. Never hurt myself, luckily! Alarm clock: My alarm is set for 5 am. I hit snooze 3 times for the next 27 minutes, which drives the husband crazy! I have to have that half hour to fully wake up so that I can get ready. I’m doing mental math all the while to see how much longer I can sleep. Touch screen: Always my right index finger, so much so that I’ve lost a bit of the feeling in the finger tip. I really need to invest in stylus instead! I will gladly provide some more challenges on Thursday if we don’t have enough by then. Have a great day, everyone!

Hallo to Claudia and the Fraugen! There are only two days left now in NaNoWriMo, and I'm on the downhill run to the end of my book. I don't think I'll actually get it finished before month's end, but I think I will have it finished in time to print it into a Christmas present. Though formatting and cover design always take longer than I think. Eek! And now, this: Z-Y-X-W-V-U-T... — I struggle to say the alphabet backwards, but I can do it if I work in small bursts. I get from Z to T with alacrity, and them S-Q, then P-L, then K-H, then G-A. I do have to pause between each section to figure out what comes next, though. Tipped over by trousers? — I don't think I've fallen all the way to the floor while taking off my pants, but I've come close. The danger is much greater in an enclosed space and/or with a lot of obstructions about, and even more greatly enhanced by super-skinny jeans. Yikes. Wakey-wakey — Lately, I've been bad and hit the snooze. When I'm behaving myself, I shut off my heated mattress pad (at this time of year) and then scurry out to the bathroom. My bedroom gets frigid, so I don't like to linger in there if I'm not under the covers. Tapping on a touchscreen — Primarily, I use my middle finger, and supplement with my index finger when two are needed. There is no way that won't sound dirty. Hehehe.
