🕑 Added 2019-08-21 06:44:02 +0000 UTCwhat the SHIT sugar belle, all me and my daughter came in your shop for was to buy a cupcake to celebrate morning glory making perfect honor roll again (as expected, my daughter is flawless), BUT YOU had to be TOO FRIENDLY and accidentally blab all about my FORMER CULT days and IMPLY it might've had some negative psychological effects on you that couldn't be brushed aside with three seconds of singing and a "teehee my bad" apology. How SELFISH can you get?? I wasn't even planning on telling my daughter about my past until.....well never, really, but STILL. I KNOW I've made some oopsies through the years, but it's like Sunset always says, my past is not today, so GET OVER IT ALREADY.
....Also, that cupcake's a little too spooky looking, do you have something more age-appropriate in the back?

read your writing on dA--wonderful work, as always--and i was wondering if midnight ever talked to sugar belle (or the other members of Our Town) down the line when she was a bit older. could be an interesting dynamic--sugar belle is so sweet, obviously not holding her mother's transgressions against her, and i could see that as possibly being a contributing factor into midnight getting into her rebellious teen years

Omg! This is so good. While I like Starlight, her character development was too abrupt, her reasoning was? Odd? And all she did basically got swept under the rug...tho I do wonder, does Sunset know the extremes Starlight went to, like her whole story? I can see Starlight glossing it over

I love how you draw your ponies, Miss Oddity! The unshorn fetlocks, cloven hooves, stocky legs, and the magical auras... it's really something to be admired. And thank you for addressing the issue of Starlight's actions, rushed redemption, and the unseen consequences. it's a discussion that needs to be made. ps. I just noticed that each unicorn has a slightly different aura, and not just in color: Sugar Belle has a more sparkly, puffy aura, like a cloud, while Starlight's is more jagged and angular, like a bolt of lightning. nice touch :)

I adore Starlight Glimmer, she's one of my favorite characters and my favorite redeemed villain, but I'm so excited to ass how you explore the consequences of her actions and how they come up in her later life, even when she thought she's put them behind her.
