a doodle of two witchy gals. I imagine Pumpkin Cake is a kindergarten teacher and intense Nightmare Night enthusiast. A sweetheart and diehard party girl, Pumpkin never quite left her high school goth/occult days behind her, and Midnight can sense that. The two get along pretty well whenever Pumpkin pops her head into her parents' bakery, and have formed a sorta sisterly bond, in that Pumpkin is way too nosy about Midnight's personal life, but Midnight curiously doesn't hex her.

Did any of us really leave our goth/occult days behind us? *sighs longingly* Flippin LOVE all the new Midnight content! Also adore your portrayal of Pumpkin. She's adorable!! Also headcanoning that her teeth really are that sharp and pointy. Somewhere in Mr and Mrs Cake's very mixed genetic background one of them may have a lunacorn or bat pony ancestor and a teeny bit of that was passed on to their kids

midnight abyss insists that she doesn't listen to my chemical romance, but rumor is that when pumpkin got them both front-row seats to the reunion tour, midnight abyss actually *smiled*. (Rumor also says it was more like a Cheshire, baby-eating grin, which honestly tracks.)
