Concept Art: Pink Ladies

1.) Minerva Abigail Belfry. Known as "Minnie" or "Min" to her few true friends. Hopes that people assume she is a vampire bat. In reality she eats bugs and berries. Her hobbies include designing spooky-themed treats at the bakery she works at, taking herself too seriously, posting gothy fanfictions to her blog, and generally being aww'd at by her doofy best friend/boyfriend, PB.
2.) "Primrose", may change name later. Hopefully an obvious expy of Primrose, Nocturnus' daughter in the Pandoraverse. In Fuzzbutts, she is the precocious daughter of Angel. Their relationship is troubled and they don't see each other often. Like her father she is a xolo dog, though she sports an odd color morph and a congenital motor disability. She uses crutches to walk, and a wheelchair on bad pain days.
3.) Brooke. Skye was originally my Fuzzbutts version of Skyla, but she over time she lost the snippiness and neuroses that defined OG Skyla. I'm dumping all these leftover traits into Brooke. Brooke's coloration is all natural, thank you very much. She's the "fun police" roommate of Cass and Katie and a fellow Sorority Sea-ster. Dolphins in FB are kinda collectively snooty snobs, and Brooke is no exception. She's a star student and swimmer at Critter City Zooniversity, and her persnickity ass is perpetually PISSED that she must work so hard to keep up with her sweet, gentle roommate Katie Anchor, to whom good grades and athleticism seem to come naturally. Dolphins are supposed to be leagues smarter than sharks, so how come Katie keeps blowing Brooke out of the water...?
Yes, Brooke has a stupid hate-crush on Katie. Tell NO ONE. >:C

Ok but PB and Minerva no joke would probably be a badass serving duo together. With PB's hand-feet and nimble fast weaving through customers, and Minerva's spot-on echolocation that can detect right when someone's cup is about to be empty, they can guarantee 100% customer satisfaction. Because of this, the Honeycomb managers put them on a lot of shifts together and are very much hoping that they'll never leave

Aw, thank you! I'm doing pretty well. It's taken me a long time to not feel completely overwhelmed by my job, but I think I've finally struck a good balance between the professional and the personal. I'm able to post to patreon a lot more than I used to be, even working full-time. My job can be stressful and is pretty much always exhausting (seriously, some days I come home and pass out facedown in a pillow), but I feel fulfilled by my work and I have days where I'm truly excited to be there. Oh, and I just got a raise! And my student loans are being forgiven....I feel like I'm finally in a good place. Honestly, I just wish there were more hours in the day. There's SO much I want to be doing all the time. I would DROWN y'all in content if I could, I have so many ideas piled up in my notebook and so little time to work on them! Ah well. I'll explore them all in good time. :)

I think Cass prefers teasing Brooke about her silly crush whenever Brooke is getting too snippy or hotheaded Cass: -and so it is concluded one of the reasons for shark hides being so tough is because of the species' proclivity of biting one another during intimate moments. The savagery of these mating bites is truly remarkable. Great white sharks in particular possess more than 300 teeth and one of the greatest bite forces in the world, a whopping 4,000 psi- Brooke, blushing so pink she's glowing like a neutron star: what the FUCK are you doing??? Cass: *puts her magazine down* Oh, nothing. Just found a neat article, thought you might be interested. Since you're so academic and all. :)

Brooke was told by her mother growing up that spilling blood in front of a shark sends them into an instant primal "feeding frenzy" mode. So one day her stupid ass "accidentally" nicks her finger in front of her big shark roomie- only to be met with Katie fussing and insisting on putting on the dino-print band-aid on Brooke herself and smiling sweetly at her and FUCK Brooke just made the crush WORSE

Oh I love them all, but especially Minerva! I think you handled the wing-hand very well and I love her little pawsies 🥺 Also just picturing she and PB getting caught in the rain or something on their way to work and her cuddling up on PB’s shoulder while he holds the umbrella. Primrose is precious as always and neat dynamic with added Brooke into the mix! I’m excited to see where all of these go! :D
