STRESS (Personal Update)
🕑 Added 2022-10-28 00:58:27 +0000 UTCHello all. As always, thank you for your support! I wanted to apologize for my low art output this month. I can't get into specifics, but I've been going through a tough time at work. Someone there has decided to make my job verrrry difficult for no real reason besides they simply want to. I'll level with you guys, I've never been great at standing up for myself even on a good day, so I'm not very equipped to deal with an adult that behaves like a schoolyard bully. It's been necessary to involve my union, and the resolution process thus far has been slow and painful. I needed to check myself into the hospital today, as I was suffering from symptoms of chronic stress. Fortunately I received quality care and support, as well as a much needed diagnosis and medication. Some patrons a while back requested to have updates whenever there's an art lag, so I figured it'd be best to let y'all know where I'm at mentally and emotionally.
Don't worry about me too much, though, I've made it through tougher situations than this. My work situation will end eventually, and I'm taking greater measures now to protect my mental health. I do very much like drawing for you all, you really have no idea how much your support and interest means to me. <3 I will hopefully be returning to regular uploads soon. (Not out of obligation, but because I want to. I truly do).

Take care of yourself Lop. Jobs are jobs, at the end of the day itβs our well being and health that should take precedence. Iβm in a similar boat-grad school stress. I hope it gets better for you. Iβm glad people at the hospital showed you such kindness
