Snowball isn’t an idiot, he’s 100% aware of Marnie’s crush. However, Marnie has yet to give any indication she actually wants to pursue any kind of relationship with him (as shown here, she responds to the subject with flustered denials), so Snow has decided not to push the matter. As a teacher Snow is primed to always keep people’s comfort level in mind, and the last thing he’d want is for Marnie, a small, sweet bunny, to feel pressured by him, an enormous oaf of dog. If anything is going to happen between them, it must be Marnie who decides.
….Snow isn’t a peeeerfect gentleman, however. Despite it all, he’s still a bit of a dumb dog, and dogs tend to be open books as far as feelings go. It’s a shame Marnie isn’t too well versed on canine courtship, because Snow is showcasing all the signs- giving gifts (homemade carrot cake, fresh strawberries, etc), prioritizing spending time with her, unthinkingly trying to showcase his strength and courage (rushing to lift heavy objects for her, catching and releasing the spider that’d been terrifying poor Marnie and her classroom of students). He lights up and wags his tail when she greets him, and is known to even do that doggy full body boof happy-wiggle lip-licking-cuz-I-wanna-slurp-your-face thing.
tldr: feelings are reciprocated, both sides are just a little stupid

Haha, I watched the first episode, realized Haida had taken Retsuko’s place as main character, and decided to nope out. I’ve heard about certain events that happen in the season and I’ve heard they aren’t done well. :/ So instead I binge-watched all five seasons of She-Ra on Netflix and that was fuggin *chef’s kiss*, lemme tell ya

All children of interspecies couples (eg. Priscilla) are technical hybrids, in that while they may share a species with just one parent, they've still inherited a select number of traits from the other parent (eg. Priscilla isn't a lion but she did inherit her mom's blue eyes). However TRUE hybrids, the kind that exist in our world, are only possible between two species that are closely related. A dog and a wolf are quite similar genetically, and could this produce a viable wolf-dog hybrid offspring. A horse and a donkey can make a mule, a lion and a tiger can make a liger, etc, etc. True hybrids are not possible between unrelated species- for example, a dog and a fox may look similar, but cannot produce a true hybrid, only either a dog pup or a fox kit. Marnie and Snowball are incapable of producing a bunny/dog hybrid, only either puppies or bunnies, though even that possibility is complicated by their large size difference. A pregnancy between them would be pretty risky for Marnie. :/
