🕑 Added 2023-06-10 00:21:26 +0000 UTCMore cleaned up ballpoint doodles from work! Featuring Dom’s dumb smarmy laugh, babie Dom with his baby lisp (it’s not uncommon for sabertooth tiger cubs and other large toothed/tusked children to need speech coaching), and Dom and Perry.
Dom and Perry are cousins, but since they’re both only children their dynamic is more like siblings. Perry is the older of the pair, shown here around 15 years old to Dom’s 8 years of age. Perry is normally fairly patient with his little cousin, but not when Dom’s too much of a weenie to ditch Liv’s lame dinner party to go play in the woods. What little kid cares more about staying tidy for supper than poking under rocks to look for slime molds? Urgh.
Dom and Perry’s dynamic changes as they get older, with Dom becoming more antagonistic towards Perry and viewing him as something of a family embarrassment. :/ Still, Dom is kinda the least terrible member of Perry’s family, so Perry is hesitant to cut ties with him even as Dom playfully bullies him over his career and choice in spouse (“Are you seriously gonna marry a pig?). The turns table, however, when Dom finds himself with his own awkward crush on a prey animal, and only one person he can go to for advice….

Yes!!! I just said that the other day that being trans is like the new gay. It’s fucking ridiculous and all these arguments against it are just playing right into these ignorant transphobic propaganda bullshit (the one about it “sexualizing kids” makes me see RED 💢 ) These people that claim to be so loving and accepting fucking LOOK for reasons to hate people, and if they can’t find one then they make up reasons and spew lies. I’m disgusted too, and getting more and more pissed as the days go on

Dude, no worries. <3 I’m sorry to hear you’re going through rough family times. :( I emphasize, several members of my family are suddenly getting very religious, which would be fine if it wasn’t stoking anti-queer, anti-transgender feelings where there weren’t before. Isn’t it lovely watching someone who’s likely never even met a trans person (that they knew of) spout off hateful rhetoric about transitioning as though they’re an expert on the topic? And it hurts, because the same arguments these church folk use against trans people (eg. they’re confused, they’re deluding themselves, they’re committing a sin against god) are the exact same arguments I heard against gay people growing up. But now homophobia is slowly falling out of fashion, so trans people get to be the new wedge issue. It boggles my mind that my family can know exactly what it’s like to be oppressed and unheard and even be victims of systemic violence- then go right on ahead and perpetuate the same damn bigotry against groups of people the church says it’s “okay” to hate. It disgusts and saddens me because I must distance myself from said family, who will of course blame me and my generation for being too sensitive, rather than questioning why they cannot show even an ounce of empathy, or at the very least mind their own fucking business. Like….shut up. You don’t NEED to air out your rancid opinion on trans people. Go for a walk, learn a hobby, read a book besides the bible. God.

Sorry for lack of commenting, been going through some bad family shit rn. Yay \o/ I hope you know that obviously I’m in love with Delta and I just LOVE all the art and lore you’ve been posting. Can’t wait to see more of Perry and his family (gonna throw hands with Liv fr.
