Miffed at how so many of my lesbian couples are stuck in stupid pining mode or otherwise kinda dysfunctional, so here’s a happily married couple. It’s Lulu (Tibbs’ mom), and her big goat wife, Mona. Mona is a kindly and soft-spoken artist, spending hours crafting everything from watercolor landscapes to hoofmade jewelry to artisanal cheeses. Lulu works hard at her motorcycle repair shop so that dear, delicate Mona (who is part fainting goat) doesn’t have to work a standard 9 to 5, instead getting to devote herself to her great loves- art, cheese, homemaking, and of course, Lulu. The pair met a bit later in life, in their early forties, but clicked instantly and easily. Both have sons from prior relationships- Lulu with Tibbs, while Mona is the mother of Teddy.
Teddy and Tibbs, of course, are stepbrothers.
