lulu I don’t think your four year old quite understands what you’re talking about
Lulu was a working single mom, and Tibbs grew up a largely unsupervised latchkey kid. Lulu, guilty over bringing a child into her life without a father or decent means of income, is a very, very permissive parent. After all, Tibbs is a bright and curious piglet, a gifted kid, and the tiny fluffy apple of Lulu’s eye. He can come home, lock the door, make a snack, and do his homework all on his own. He practically parents himself!
…..Yeah, turns out it’s a very bad idea to let a child parent themselves.
(fyi, lulu is asking Tibbs if he did his homework. Both Lulu and Tibbs speak Cajun French)
