Ok. So, I’m blind. No lie, I was a liiiittle bit worried about this one. It was some really great stuff, though, and I didn’t have to be. I like the part where you specifically said, “Take my arm.” Most people just kinda grab our arm without thinking, canes and dogs be damned. So, thanks for highlighting that. 😊 I also really loved this audio’s implications that blind people can indeed exist in sexy and fulfilling relationships. You would be shocked at how many folks think partner = “attendant,” or that we don’t know what sex is! The jokes were great, the spoon thing was hilarious, and yes you passed the sensitivity test. Major points, G! 💚 💚 💚

This was really unique and thought-provoking for me. I'm not as visually impaired as your scripted listener, but I don't remember a time when I didn't have to wear corrective lenses. My sight deteriorated rapidly as a child to the point that I can now only see vague shapes, colors, and movement without them (think looking at Christmas lights through a window spattered with rain). I took off my lenses and closed my eyes to listen to this and throughout, it struck me that even though I wear glasses that correct most of my sight, I still rely much more on my other senses (in this case, hearing) to navigate through life. Everything sounded much sharper and clearer than usual: I could tell your proximity to the mic, the periodic sounds of glasses or wine bottles being struck in a line in the background, the sound of the silverware on the dishes, all of that sounded so much more vivid. Thank you for such a lovely audio, and for helping me realize something new about myself!
