Lena POV: Chapter 8 (Meeting scene)

Life’s been kicking my ass lately. I honestly didn’t realize settling into a new city and university would be this hard lol. But I did manage to finish the POV! I tried my best to write it without giving away too many spoilers for future chapters.

Now that the post is up, I’m heading back to painting the room lol.
I’ll be posting a Daemir POV tomorrow, and maybe an off-page scene between Astryn and Lena after that. It’s a bit tricky since I’m doing my best to avoid major spoilers. We'll see.

Hi! Just a suggestion for chapter 8: (This is just my interpretation of the world) I don’t see many usual gender roles in Rhivenia or any forward prejudices against same sex relationships. (Maybe I just haven’t found in my path in the game) Why would a Rhivenian King/Queen marry if not to make heirs? Adoptive children could be chosen? Nephews maybe? I understand alliances are important to the kingdom of course. But in a religious point of view, the main focus of the family would be always make sure there are a continuity to Nameyris choose their representative. Other thing that I felt playing is that if you are a Princess you don’t really learn a typical noble woman socialization skills. Like dancing, charming, painting, playing instruments etc. We learn to fight, politics, hunting, etc. So it was a bit weird for the Queen to have to use a dress. Because it was something that wasn’t in the Princess life until that moment. She is someone that doesn’t have to perform femininity unless she chooses to do so (like Freya for example). I just think it would be nice to choose something that is also not a dress. I doesn’t feel like it would be a big deal (for Lena, Atheris, Revna, Maevris is just normal, just clothes to wear to work).

While I'm not much invested in Lena, I'm so happy to be vindicated that she DOES want to have trust between us. My faith in Xavier's trust and also hope for the future was vindicated! Her taking pleasure in making a fool of us is a bit hrm, but I'll let it pass considering what Charles did to her lol. Also... Daemir pov tomorrow...! I'm so eyes emoji over that sentence and I'm rolling around in excitement to see from his eyes because I need to know what goes on in his head. I want to study this guy and why he has such an effect on me kjahsdjkashdkajh
