Same. I miss the cold and snow! I remember hugging people who just walked into the cozy warmth of our house. The cold still lingering on their coats - I could feel it when I put my arms around them. Sometimes I would catch the suddle scent of wood smoke on them. I suppose it's a strange thing to hold on to, but for whatever reason, I loved it.

Not much chance of snow here in the southeast US so thank you for this. I miss the snow up north so bad sometimes, and the sound of wind & snow and fireplace really helps my mood. Sweet and cute and cuddly heartwarming <3... hearing your Christmas Tree adventures, I realise how clever my parents were to stabilize our trees with ropes on the wall so my brothers and me and our two big dogs couldn't knock him down by chance. ;)
