And thanks to all the families like yours on the homefront! My dad did 3 tours in Vietnam while my mom was practically raising my older siblings on her own. She’ll always be my hero for holding things down while they were apart. That’s why I have so much respect for mamas like you, Jen! 😘

I can’t express how much this touches me. I joined to follow those that have gone before. And Everyday I can’t help but remember the sacrifices they did. I hope we never have to send another man into the chaos of war. Thank you for this beautiful memorial video.

G, Gabi, A beautiful, tender and loving collaboration. When I listen and watch this, I forget that this is art. Instead of feeling like I am watching an anime that pulls at the heart strings, I feel like I am eaves dropping and intruding on an authentic homecoming and I want to quietly and respectfully step away to give the couple some privacy. 😢😢

Beautiful tribute Gabi and G. Veterans both living and those that have passed deserve recognition every day. Gabi your animation has a certain charm yet still very powerful. My Father, Grandfathers were Veterans and my Great Aunt, a factory worker in WWII. Nice work!

This is a beautiful tribute. Wonderful job Gabi. Thank you recognizing Memorial Day. I feel too many people in the US have lost sight of what Memorial Day is all about. I’ve been lucky enough to have my spouse returned to me after every deployment and some families didn’t get the opportunity to receive that luxury.

This was amazing, sweet and beautiful. My Grandfather fought in WW2, he survived it and I was so fortunate to have had him in my life. Just listened to it. This was so incredibly beautiful 💗 The images were fitting your sweet words, G, so well. This all should remind us how difficult it has always been love during war time, or any other harsh time, where people had no social networks, Skype, mobile phones or anything else we have now to keep contact. We don't realize how lucky we are nowdays. Your words, G, in the audio, are exactly the words of a loving, desperate man, who does anything to stay alive, in war, with the true intention to come back to his woman. If I was in the shoes, especially in the past, of a woman waiting for her man to be back from war, I don't think I could survive the days passing, with the constant fear of losing him. My heart would break in pain almost every day, I guess. But surely I'd never stopped waiting for my man, ever, till my very last day. When there's a man in my heart and on my mind, all the other guys don't exist for me, even in a huge, physical distance. I live for love. I know.
