The story of the clever kindness and sensitivity of your niece makes me think a little about myself as a little girl. You know, some people were just born, from the beginning, with a higher sensitivity than the majority, and probably your niece is like that too. When you are this way, you can easily understand better and faster people's emotions or what they've been trough, even from just one word, or just their voice, or sometimes just from their eyes.. 💗 So here's one of the several stories I remember about how damn sensitive I was as a little girl too: when the movie "Titanic" was out, I was 8 years old and I was watching it, for the first time, at the cinema, with other little friends. My father brought us all to the cinema, that day. It finally came the scene where the ship was slowly sinking and the people still left on the ship, to avoid to die with the sinking Titanic, tried to jump from it, hoping not to die that way too. Even if I was just 8 years old, I saw in that scene the sadness and the cruelty of life for those left on the ship, and their last, desperate instinct of living no matter what. I felt so sad for them that I started to cry, at the cinema, and then I did stand up on my chair, with the movie still playing, and loudly I said to the people watching the movie behind me how selfish we all were for not helping those desperate people on the Titanic. My father was completely speechless. And when we went back home and I explained my dad why I did that, he was like: " Is it possible, at your age, to always pay attention about all this things about life, and love, and the cruelty of living towards some people?? Why don't you go play with your dolls, like all the other little girls of your age??". I was just 8 years old. Yeah, my parents were always so speechless when my sensitivity was showing up as a little girl. I'm sure your niece is quite like this, too, in understanding people at such a young age. 💗🎀
