[update] I have tried only using your finished files and still cant make the character move. wasd doesnt work, arrows doesnt work, and plugging in an xbox controller doesnt work either.

I'm trying to make this for ios and am not sure what im missing, but im on part 2 and i cant make my character move. i dont know if its because i need different code so its screen touch or if im just not hitting the right keys to make the character move (cant get to move with touch keyboard or controller) if i do need different coding to make the game ios then keywords to search for would be lovely

How are you trying to open it? It only contains the scripts of the project, so you can't open it directly in unity. You can download the complete project files from this post https://www.patreon.com/posts/complete-project-39632268 in case you want to open it directly.
