Hey everyone, welcome to part 3 of the my 3D Pokemon RPG in unity course. In this video, we'll animate the player and make the player walk and run. We'll also set up controller input so that we can control the player using a joystick

Honestly started making one of these (not entirely pokemon like but still) based on your other tutorial, so awesome.

Yeah, I might switch to the new input system in the future. The reason why I didn't use it now is because it's a bit harder to set up and needs an understanding of features like C# events & lambdas. So it might be a turn-off for beginners.

Blend trees are really cool and quite easy to use. Looks so smooth :) Do you plan on switching to Unity's new input system in the future?
