I can try alan wake remake or control , also someone suggested Plague tale was quite interesting.
Constraints are pretty much same -- no multiplayer games, no EA games no nostalgia games from 90. Also, check if game has already any geo3d profile in known mods, like helix or vorpx, I don't want to redo same work which already done by soneone else.

First of all, if you make a VR MOD of a famous game with a huge game scale, the word of mouth will be huge. 1. Granblue Fantasy Relink (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXNrHR3kU8o ) This is the same as number 1, but this is a work that is already very well known.
