fun fact the original script for scream 2 got leaked so they had to rewrite it halle (the black girl) and derek (sidneys boyfriend) were the killers along with billys mom

Did y’all peep that CiCi (Sarah Michelle Gellar), the one that got killed at the sorority house and thrown from the balcony is Daphne from Scooby Doo? So it’s funny they had Shaggy and Daphne in the first two movies. She’s also in the horror film, I Know What You Did Last Summer. This is where she meets Freddie Prinze Jr. for the first time. He’s Fred in Scooby Doo. They started dating a year or two before doing the Scooby Doo movies. So they were married by the time they did Scooby Doo 2. They’re still married now and have kids together.

fun fact: Scream 2 is the only one in the series that the opening kill does not involve a phone call. the reason the phone started scrambling like that when the girl went outside is because the phone was too far from the receiver
