John Singleton my favorite director/writer. He also did: Boys in da Hood Poetic Justice Higher Lerarning Four Brothers 2 Fast 2 Furious and more, all 🔥flicks.
Jae Amanda
Ahh no wonder he was on timing lol he was really like that
Haze
Melvin was a Gangsta Hoover they’re close to the crips because they wear blue but they main color is orange in California
Jae Amanda
And lmao they caught us off guard
Jae Amanda
Yooooo nahh we ain’t even peep thatttt 🤣
Kangdarius
Idk why but this the first time I realized Jody 2nd baby is younger than the one with Yvette. Which means this man cheated on her and had a whole kid or he had another kid when they broke up. Boy Jody ain’t sh*t 🤣🤣. Melvin was right. EDIT: the PEAK toxicity of that “I hate u” scene. The older u get the funnier this movie is. Cuz we all know a couple like them.
Carmello
Nah only if yall haven’t. Yall should react to superfly (2018) too if yall ain’t see dat joint yet
Jae Amanda
i think we seen it we gonna do some research to make sure. If we have would you still like to see a reaction from us anyway?
Carmello
Yall should watch Proud Mary with Taraji p Henson. It’s good asf
Carmello

Oh right i get you im the same nowadays lol yall will get to "South Central" eventually def gonna check it out with yall & yes to "Higher Learning" too "South Central" reminds me a little of "Colors" just the feel of it. "1992" only seen preview,The Wash is cool but not as much of a personal fav as other hood movies but yall may like.To me it has a similar feel to Baby Boy,possibly being same year of release and both in L.A? Pulp Fiction is good
Brad B
And Ice Cube was supposed to play Snoop's character.
Jae Amanda
We knew of Baby Boy probably was even in the same room as our family members watched it. Never said down and watched it actively. And yea we have to see south central! Idk what’s taking us so long 😂 same with higher learning And I heard about that movie. Have you seen it if so how was it?

This movie definitely a conversation starter. John singleton always puts a message in his movies . Spike Lee a director who makes classics too.
Lawrence Campbell
Fun fact 2pac was originally supposed to play Jody before he died
