Yes definitely Blood In Blood Out it, is set in East L.A same with "American Me" Personally always prefered Blood In Blood Out though.Colors,Above The Rim & New Jersey Drive too.One that people may forget about is "Bullet" with 2pac and Mickey Rourke.Gang Related and Gridlockd starring 2Pac i like but wouldnt consider them "hood" but cop themed movies.

My GOAT gangster flick. If I hadn’t seen this before godfather I might’ve thought the other way but this is just too perfect for me personally. Movie long af but the pacing is great. Same way I feel about blood in, blood out. EDIT: calling deniro, DiCaprio 🤣🤣 they do have a movie together called “this boys life” that’s pretty damn good though.
