season 4 is great but s1 and s3 are the hallmarks.... you'll see why they say s4 it top tier, but this first season set a very high bar.... S2 is underrated but very good

I think y’all should get right to season 2, cause everything is fresh on your minds. Season 2 is different because it’s not all typical street shit, but it’s tied into the streets. Have to watch it to fully understand why I say that. The best thing about the wire is that it lets every character grow, they never leave you hanging about what happened to every character. So I say get to season 2 and run through the whole series before moving on to the next show ( snowfall hopefully). And I love that y’all pausing more now to chop it up , so u don’t miss anything, cause y’all used to miss a lot while talking. But keep it going, I enjoy y’all, like we family.

Season 2 is slow & they change the focus to the docks & the connect. When the Wire was airing on HBO a lot of people was tight cause they wanted it to be like Season 1. Then it switches back in Season 3 and it’s 🔥🔥🔥. You kinda need 2 to explain the bigger picture. However y’all do the shows is cool to me but I think watch the Wire one a week then add another TV show. And then do movies. Otherwise you’ll never get thru any series 😁. Another HBO show y’all should do is the Sopranos - that’s the mafia. All these HBO series was when HBO was the shit. Adore you guys & seeing y’all young people get to the 💰

Finish the wire for sure. U gotta be able to say you’ve seen it. I can’t speak on snowfall because it came out after i stopped watching black shows about the drug game. Power was my last venture into that. As far as a suggestion goes y’all should check out Luther. It’s a British cop show starring idris elba. It’s different from the norm though. Has like 4 seasons and a movie. The seasons are short though. Also I think y’all should finish a series before starting another one. Since y’all so consistent with movies.

Oh and also a fun fact. Kima was originally supposed to die when she got shot but the writers changed their mind. And Deangelo’s mom in this show is the same woman who plays Franklins mom in snowfall lol. And when we say season 2 will make everything make sense we mean the entire show lol.

If yall don’t wanna do it at the same time that’s cool but def do snowfall next for sure. I fw power heavy and it was my favorite show but snowfall is better. Better written and better acting. Og Power got lazy towards the end. Tariq show is ok. Raising kanan to me is the best spinoff out of them all and is my favorite current show. And the dropping a tv show reaction every other day is the best option for sure
