They were actually shooting part 2, but Lauren ended up getting pregnant w/ her son by Nipsey Hussle, so they took a break w/ filming . Then once she had the baby & recovered, they said she had to lose her baby weight to get back into her New-New character ... but after that, they never resumed filming . She did indeed lose the weight, so I'm not sure why they never finished the movie
