Actually there is a Selena tv series. It’s a very detailed series about her life. I highly recommend watching it in your spare time. There’s so much more to literally EVERYTHING you saw in this movie. Including her brother confessing that the record label forced him to use certain frequencies when producing the songs in order to have mind control over the audiences/fans.

the saddest part is where she was shot. she hit her in an artery around the shoulder area and she ran away from yolanda after she was shot which raised her blood pressure and she bled out in the lobby of the hotel. if the bullet would've hit just half an inch in any other direction drs most likely would've been able to save her life.

Her death definitely pissed all communities off because it was like a backstab. Yolanda basically wormed herself into being close with Selena but she did actually kill her. There's a couple crime documentaries around about her murder but essentially Selena's dying words were naming Yolanda as her killer as she fell around some of the hotel workers while they were calling for the ambulance. There's a doc from Yolanda's point of view while she's been in prison; she swears up and down she didn't want the gun to go off but witnesses heard her mumble "bitch" after Selena ran out the room after being shot. She was going to go after her but got spooked by the workers and just barricaded herself in her truck.

Netflix has a series called Selena that covers the gaps the movie couldn't cover mainly due to timing. Also, Selena got shot through the back/shoulder and the bullet exited striking an artery. she basically bled to death. they say had she lived, she would have been in a vegetative state/brain dead. So she really had no chance of surviving. Also, she crawled from the room she was shot in to the lobby of the hotel leaving a long trail of blood behind so she lost a lot before the paramedics got there

Happy Holidays, This was sad I never knew she died so young. The casting was good Jlo was perfect for this role, but Spanish music was definitely always playing in the corner store all over NY. Jlo is iconic too other than playing on tv and the radio I remember her songs used to play in a store called ABC and Conway all the time.

it’s crazy she only got to record 4 english songs before her passing , also she only met up with the old that day because she lied about being sexually assaulted selena took her to the hospital being a genuine person the doctor told her that she wasn’t sexually assaulted and Selena was officially done with her so she wanted the records so she could leave so and cut ties her so they went back to her hotel old lady actually asked her not to bring chris or her dad she purchased the gun days before and asked selena to meet her the same day she bought it…and that was the end
